Daniel Cornell is an experienced executive, investor, and investment banking professional whose career spans private equity, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and the towing industry. He currently serves as CEO and a Board Member of Legacy Tow Group, bringing decades of transaction and leadership experience to the organization. Cornell earned a B.B.A. in Finance from the College of William & Mary after attending Bergen Catholic High School. Over a 25-year investment banking career, he held senior leadership positions with Truist Securities, SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, and Jefferies. His experience includes executing more than 100 capital-raising transactions and 125 merger and acquisition transactions involving publicly traded companies, private equity-backed businesses, and privately held organizations. His background provides a foundation for evaluating acquisitions, supporting business growth, and developing organizations across fragmented service industries such as towing. Cornell has also been recognized by the Association for Corporate Growth as Investment Banker and Capital Provider of the Year. Beyond business, he supports charitable organizations and values mentorship and giving back. His interests include offshore fishing, boating, golf, and other outdoor activities.
